On Wednesday, July 29 at 8 p.m. was held another debate on Chinese subjects. The event was organized by the Warsaw Institute and The Warsaw Institute Review. We invite you to watch the recording of the debate.
The event was honored by their presence:
– Dr. Rafał Zgorzelski – historian, expert of The Warsaw Institute Review incl. international relations and information warfare.
– Leszek Ślazyk – entrepreneur and publicist, founder of the Chin24.com portal, and a commentator on Chinese topics. Since 1994, he has been professionally associated with China.
The meeting was chaired by Jarosław Walkowicz – former organizer of The Warsaw Institute Review events and vice president of the Forum of Young Diplomats.
The speakers touched on a number of different topics – from matters related to Chinese domestic politics, such as the protests in Hong Kong and discrimination against the Uighurs, as well as China’s activities on the international arena, including the New Silk Road and the growing conflict with the United States. The greatest emotions, however, were aroused by the attempt to define the approach to the People’s Republic of China that should be taken by Western countries, including Poland. We strongly recommend to watch this event!
